padvitals is an independent project. I write the text and maintain the tool myself, so I am the one who reads the messages.
If you are writing about a controller that misbehaves
This is the most useful kind of message and the one I appreciate most. To fix it I need three things:
- The exact controller model and how you have it connected, by cable or over Bluetooth.
- What the grey line at the top of the tool says, which identifies the controller and the reading method.
- What you expected and what happened: a button that does not light up, a figure that does not add up, a silhouette that does not match your controller.
With that I can usually reproduce the problem. Uncommon controllers are exactly the ones needed to improve compatibility.
Privacy and data
To exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction or portability, write to the same address stating which right you wish to exercise. Details are in the privacy policy.
